Chicago Fire season 6, episode 9 synopsis and promo: Foul Is Fair

Can the Chicago Fire crew find a missing girl and a mystery source this week? Here’s the official Chicago Fire season 6, episode 9 synopsis and teaser.

Thursday’s next Chicago Fire episode involves more than one mystery, but you can get your first clues about the episode with NBC‘s official synopsis and teaser!

Season 6, Episode 9 is called “Foul Is Fair” and the major plotline concerns Gabriela Dawson (Monica Raymund) continuing to search for Bria (guest star Quinn Cooke), after the young girl went on the run at the end of last week’s episode. While Dawson gets some help from Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) in her search, she’s still not quite on the same page with her husband Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer) about the situation.

In other news, Chicago Fire also sends the rest of the firehouse crew off on their own mystery, trying to find out where a bizarre smell is coming from. This could be another one of those odd comedic B-stories, like last season when they spent time determined to find out who was busy tagging Firehouse 51. We’ll have to see how this story sorts out, but it’ll obviously balance out the drama of the Dawson and Bria plotline.

"After learning unsettling news, Dawson enlists Severide to help her out. Elsewhere, Casey and Dawson struggle with communication issues while Brett and Kidd compete to win the heart of Zach, a Hazmat officer.Meanwhile, Otis, Herrmann and Mouch are on a mission to locate the source of a horrible stench that is making life unpleasant at Firehouse 51."
