2. Joe Cruz and Brian “Otis” Zvonecek, Chicago Fire

Joe Cruz (Joe Minoso) and Otis (Yuri Sardarov) are the duo who would sign themselves up for The Amazing Race. Actually, it’d probably be more like Otis signs them both up without telling Joe and springs it on him as a huge surprise, and then Joe goes along with it because he realizes that they could win a million dollars. Plus, think of all that promotion for Molly’s (and now Molly’s North)!

Seriously though, Cruz and Otis would be great on The Amazing Race, because they would have so much fun and then the TV audience would have fun along with them. Every season of the show has at least one team that’s got an almost larger than life personality, like Flight Time and Big Easy from the Harlem Globetrotters in The Amazing Race 15.

Otis and Cruz would be those guys. They’d be the ones who would get excited about almost everything. Chicago Fire fans can just see how much Otis would freak out when he realized they got to play with elephants. Remember when he was all ready to go to space? This would be a dream come true for him.

But aside from that, his enthusiasm and Cruz’s ingenuity would be a solid combination for the competition. There’s almost nothing Otis won’t do, and Cruz can come up with anything, so they would be total wild cards here.
