5. Connor Rhodes and Isidore Latham, Chicago Med

Our vote for the Amazing Race team from Chicago Med is taking a U-turn: it’s Dr. Connor Rhodes (Colin Donnell) and his boss Dr. Isidore Latham (Ato Essandoh). They’re not the most obvious pick, but they should be.

We’ve already seen Connor and Latham go on a road trip in the Chicago Med season 2 episode “Theseus’ Ship” and that was one of the best episodes of the season because of that. Hopefully their trip around the world wouldn’t involve Latham being duped by con artists, but we saw the chemistry they had together and how Connor was an excellent teammate.

That episode left us wanting to see them buddy up more, and well going around the world with each other would be the perfect extension to their unlikely bromance. If that’s how they act when they’re out of town, how would they be when they go out of the country?

Plus, they’d make a great team. Considering how Connor reacted to finding a panda in his OR, imagine his expression when he found out he’d have to milk a camel. Latham has shown us on Chicago Med that he has the emotional distance to make tough decisions with a clear head, so he would be able to U-turn anyone without any guilt whatsoever. And these are two very smart guys in general, so we certainly wouldn’t bet against them.
