Chicago PD season 5, episode 15 synopsis and promo: Sisterhood
Chicago PD returns with a story that revisits last season’s best episode. Here’s the official Chicago PD season 5, episode 10 synopsis and teaser.
When Chicago PD comes back from hiatus Wednesday, it’s with an episode that will feel a bit familiar to One Chicago fans. What’s coming up next? Find out with NBC‘s official description and promo for this week’s episode.
Wednesday’s episode is called “Sisterhood” and once again finds the Intelligence Unit hot on the trail of someone taking the law into their own hands. This time, it’s someone who’s taking down known rapists.
The subplot of the episode is a callback to the season 4 installment “Last Minute Resistance.” Fans will recall that Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati) caught her sister’s rapists in that episode, and so as Burgess works the case, she starts thinking about the two men who assaulted Nicole. It’s understandable that she’d feel like they didn’t get what they deserved, but certainly Burgess will not act on that instinct, right?
Still, even bringing that back into the show will be interesting. This season hasn’t had an episode that powerful yet, and it might be nice for the series to give us an update on how Nicole is doing through the subplot. We’ll find out Wednesday if that’s the case, and if “Sisterhood” can reach the same heights as its predecessor.
Here’s how NBC officially describes the episode:
"Intelligence tracks down a vigilante killing rapists. The investigation hits home for Burgess, who begins to question if the men who attacked her sister truly paid for their actions."
