Listen to Chicago Med’s Patti Murin with new Frozen single

Chicago Med alum Patti Murin and Jelani Alladin deliver a beautiful performance in the latest single from Frozen: The Broadway Musical; listen to it now.

Patti Murin didn’t get to sing as Dr. Nina Shore on Chicago Med, but you can hear her phenomenal voice in the new song from Frozen: The Broadway Musical, which we’re bringing to you right now.

“What Do You Know About Love?” is a duet between Patti Murin’s Princess Anna and Jelani Alladin as Kristoff, while Anna and Kristoff are venturing out to find Anna’s sister Elsa (Caissie Levy).

Kristoff believes Anna is moving too fast by becoming engaged to someone she’s just met, while Anna doesn’t think that he deserves to criticize her relationship since he doesn’t have someone of his own.

It’s a fun, witty ballad from the Academy Award-winning team of Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, and the vocal performances from both actors are spot on. This is a song that fans will have in their heads for days, and it proves that Patti Murin is a bonafide Broadway star.

Disney has been releasing several singles from Frozen on Broadway while the musical is in its previews at New York’s St. James Theatre. The drop of “What Do You Know About Love?” follows the releases of “Monster” and “Dangerous To Dream.”

Whether or not you’re a Frozen fan, this is an outstanding soundtrack. It more than lives up to the anticipation for the musical. We had the opportunity to preview Frozen: The Broadway Musical in New York last week, and the production is everything that audiences would expect and then some.

The biggest draw for the production isn’t the special effects or the Disney name, but the top-tier cast. Patti Murin and Caissie Levy are perfectly cast as Anna and Elsa, who deliver excellent work both together and apart. Each of them could steal a show on their own; together, they’ve got a special kind of magic.

And this single makes us wish that we could steal Patti Murin back onto Chicago Med already, because it will remind you just how lucky we’ve been to have her on the show. It’s full of the joy and charm that she brought to Nina Shore, and it’s just too bad Nina never got to sing.
