Chicago Med brings back Reese’s father and brings in more drama this week. Here’s the official Chicago Med season 3, episode 12 synopsis and teaser.

The kids are not all right on the next Chicago Med, according to NBC‘s official description of Tuesday’s episode. Get your first clues about what’s coming with the episode’s synopsis and video promo.

The next episode is called “Born This Way” and many of the storylines deal with children in some way. While Dr. Sarah Reese (Rachel DiPillo) still doesn’t have a clue about her dad (returning guest star Michel Gill), Dr. Daniel Charles (Oliver Platt) continues to look out for his protege. Meanwhile, two of the three cases of the week involve kids, and the third—well, it’s just uncomfortable.

We’ll have no shortage of child-related issues this week, which means it ought to be a fun week for Dr. Natalie Manning (Torrey DeVitto) as our resident pediatric specialist. Hopefully she’ll have a better week interacting with patients than she did the last time out!

"Upon hearing news of a pregnant teen, Dr. Manning and Dr. Choi venture to a homeless encampment to help deliver a baby under dire circumstances. Dr. Rhodes and Dr. Bekker argue about the best way to treat a young boy with a chronic disease.Dr. Halstead and April are put in an uncomfortable situation when they find out their patient is a pedophile. Goodwin and Maggie have to deal with a lawsuit against the hospital. Dr. Charles learns of important news pertaining to Dr. Reese’s father."
