Chicago Med’s Dr. Ethan Choi and Dr. Natalie Manning head to the rescue in One Chicago Center’s exclusive clip from Chicago Med season 3, episode 12.

The doctors of Chicago Med will do anything to save lives, and they’re going the extra mile in our exclusive clip from tomorrow’s new episode!

Tuesday’s episode is called “Born This Way” and there’s a birth coming but not at all in the way that fans might expect. It’s not even in the hospital, as Dr. Ethan Choi (Brian Tee) and his colleague Dr. Natalie Manning (Torrey DeVitto) have to treat the expectant mother outside the ED.

How can Natalie and Choi safely help their patient in the middle of a homeless encampment? How is the mother holding up under such adverse circumstances? And if she’s not doing well, could that affect the health of her baby? There are a lot of variables here, and there’s not a lot of time or any resources to ensure that all works out okay.

In this scene from the episode, which airs Tuesday at 10 p.m. ET, Choi drives with Natalie out to the homeless camp to locate their patient after one of her friends comes looking for help. What they find is a definite challenge. But that isn’t going to stop them from doing what they can for a young woman in need. How are they going to provide the care she needs, and fast, when they’re far from Chicago Med?

Watch our exclusive video from “Born This Way” below and then tune in to NBC tomorrow to see the full episode and if Choi and Natalie can deliver a happy ending for their latest patient.
