Chicago Fire season 6, episode 16 synopsis and promo: The One That Matters Most
Chicago Fire deals with the absence of Otis in this week’s episode. Here’s the official Chicago Fire season 6, episode 16 synopsis and teaser.
There’s change ahead in Thursday’s Chicago Fire, and it’s not good according to NBC‘s official description of the next new episode.
Thursday’s installment is called “The One That Matters Most” and primarily deals with the fallout from last week’s two-hour movie event. With Otis (Yuri Sardarov) still in the hospital indefinitely, Firehouse 51 is forced to take on a replacement whether they like it or not. It gets worse because that replacement (new recurring guest star Damon Dayoub) happens to have a romantic history with one of the team. Small world, huh?
Fans will be worrying over what happens next for Otis, who survived his injuries last week but is far from recovered; could he be the next person exiting the firehouse? Hopefully not, because the new guy seems like more trouble than anything else. Once again, Firehouse 51 is mixing personal and professional, and we know that never goes well. We’ll have to see if the past gets in the way of the present this week, and how awkward things will be. (It can’t be worse than Hope‘s visit to the firehouse, right?)
Here’s how NBC officially describes the episode:
"Herrmann, along with members of house 51, struggle to come to terms with an injury to one of their own, and then must deal with the new temporary replacement. Boden ponders some interesting news while Kidd has a hard time keeping a secret."
