Chicago Fire season 6, episode 17 synopsis and promo: Put White On Me

Chicago Fire has old memories for Dawson and new hope for Otis this week. Here’s the official Chicago Fire season 6, episode 17 synopsis and teaser.

This week’s episode of Chicago Fire comes with several more big changes, according to NBC‘s official description of Thursday’s installment.

Thursday’s episode is called “Put White On Me” and there’s more of the past coming out around Firehouse 51 this week. We’re about to meet Kelly Severide’s (Taylor Kinney) mother, which will prove interesting for his renewed relationship with Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo). Here’s hoping Severide’s mom stirs up less trouble than his dad, because after all it was Severide’s dad who was last seen throwing a wrench into his love life with Anna Turner (Charlotte Sullivan). But at least we’ll now get both sides of the Severide family story.

Meanwhile, according to the promo for this episode, we’ll also dig deeper into Gabriela Dawson’s (Monica Raymund) history with new arrival Jake Cordova (recurring guest star Damon Dayoub). It probably won’t be long until that comes out, because that’s where the drama is. The show wouldn’t introduce that part of Cordova’s character if it wasn’t going to do something with it. And as Dawson herself said last week, secrets don’t last long around Firehouse 51.

"Boden has a lapse in judgment in the aftermath of rescuing a young boy. Kidd struggles to win the approval of Severide’s mom after a surprise visit and Otis takes on new responsibilities at the firehouse."
