When is the Chicago Med season 3 finale? With May being the last month of the 2017-2018 TV season, One Chicago fans may be wondering when the current season of Med will come to an end.
Don’t worry too much just yet, because the conclusion is still some time from now. The Chicago Med season finale is three weeks away, and will air on Tuesday, May 15.
That makes Med the last One Chicago show to wrap up its current season, as both Chicago Fire and Chicago PD will have ended a week earlier.
But that’s not really a surprise given that NBC pushed the start of Chicago Med season 3 from the fall to midseason. Since the hospital opened its doors later, it’s going to finish things up later, too.
And here’s another interesting fact: since the midseason move also reduced the number of episodes in this season, there’s virtually no difference in how the finale plays out on the network’s schedule.
Last season’s final episode “Love Hurts” aired on May 11, so this season will conclude four days later, even though it has three less episodes.

When it gets here, the Chicago Med ender will wrap up a number of storylines that have been developed in the last few episodes. The episode is called “The Tipping Point” and will finally get to the conjoined twin surgery that the show has set up over the last seven episodes.
Plus, look for Dr. Daniel Charles (Oliver Platt) to learn even more about Robert Haywood (recurring guest star Michel Gill). The personal and professional will continue to mix at Chicago Med, right up until the very end.
