The Chicago Med season finale brings hard truths out for our doctors. Here’s the official Chicago Med season 3, episode 20 synopsis and teaser.
The season finale is called “The Tipping Point” and that sounds more than appropriate given what the network has revealed is on deck for Tuesday. Dr. Daniel Charles (Oliver Platt) is still looking into whether or not Robert Haywood (recurring guest star Michel Gill) could be a murderer, and in this episode what he finds is described as “troubling.” So, that’s not going to work out well.
Elsewhere, Dr. Ethan Choi (Brian Tee) isn’t done with the drama surrounding his sister Emily (recurring guest player Arden Cho). Emily may have left her brother a note saying that she left Chicago and went back to Las Vegas, but if you watch the below promo you’ll see that’s not quite the case. Plus, is Ethan ever going to learn that his sister did actually steal those drugs from the hospital?
And finally, after weeks and weeks of preparation and debating, Chicago Med is going to show us that conjoined twin separation surgery that we’ve been waiting on. Considering everything that’s gone into it, this had better be a success—for the audience and because the hospital can’t deal with another high-profile failure. But with the show’s best surgeon sitting on the sidelines, will that have an impact? Will we be having an ‘I told you so’ moment? There’s only one way to find out.
Here’s how NBC officially describes the episode:
"Dr. Rhodes second guesses his decision to remove himself from the team of doctors who work to separate conjoined twins. Dr. Choi and April make a startling discovery about his sister, Emily, and Dr. Charles uncovers troubling information concerning Dr. Reese’s father."
