Chicago Med’s season finale had Will Halstead propose to Natalie Manning. Here are two reasons Natalie should say yes – and two reasons why she should say no.

Last night’s season finale of Chicago Med had Manstead fans excited when Dr. Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) summoned up his courage and asked Dr. Natalie Manning (Torrey DeVitto) to marry him.

The episode cut away before we could hear Natalie’s response, but clearly she’s going to say yes, right? She has to, doesn’t she?

Not necessary. Though a Chicago Med proposal is a big deal—a first between main characters on this show and one of very few in the whole One Chicago fandom—we don’t think it’s necessarily a done deal that Manstead will be engaged when Chicago Med season 4 begins next fall.

Natalie has plenty of reasons to accept Will’s proposal and marry him, but the third season has also provided a few examples of reasons why she might turn him down. This is a massive turning point in their relationship, whatever happens, so to try and make her decision a little easier we’re going to look at the pros and cons of the Chicago Med proposal.

We’ll talk about why she ought to say yes and make Will (and Chicago Med fans!) happy, but also why she may have to turn him down and break his heart. Then we want you to give your opinion on what Natalie should choose in the comments at the end of this article.

Click through the below slideshow to uncover our reasons why we think Natalie should say yes to Will’s proposal—and the reasons why we think she has to say no.
