In honor of Sophia Bush’s role in The Incredibles 2, check out these voice roles of Chicago Fire, Chicago PD and Chicago Med stars before One Chicago.

Sophia Bush can be heard in Disney/Pixar’s The Incredibles 2 this weekend, but she’s not the only One Chicago star who’s had an incredible voice role.

Several cast members from Chicago Fire, as well as Chicago Med and Chicago PD, have lent their voices to animated projects in the past—and we’ve rounded up some of those roles here for you to see (and hear).

Scroll through the below list to check out the voice roles of some of your favorite One Chicago stars and recurring cast members. Were you aware that they played these animated characters before they came to Chicago?

You can get tickets to see Sophia Bush in The Incredibles 2 now through Fandango.

Jesse Spencer

Chicago Fire‘s Jesse Spencer has lent his voice to two different Disney shows. First, in 1998—yes, that’s 20 years ago—he voiced the character of Triten, Jr. in the Hercules: The Animated Series episode “Hercules and the Son of Poseidon.”

Then in 2013, he played the gregarious hunter Liam in the Phineas and Ferb short “Primal Perry” which you can watch below. At least he got to make use of his natural Australian accent:

Jason Beghe

With as distinctive a voice as he has, it’s no wonder Chicago PD‘s Jason Beghe has dabbled in the voice acting world. Beghe provided the pipes for the Terrorist Leader who tangled with Superman in the DC Universe animated movie Superman: Unbound in 2013. Watch the movie’s trailer below, which features Matt Bomer (White Collar) as Superman:

Sophia Bush

Sophia Bush is in movie theaters everywhere now voicing Voyd in The Incredibles 2, but it’s not her first Disney project. Like Jesse Spencer, she also appeared in Phineas and Ferb; she voiced Sara, who was Candace’s acquaintance and Jenny’s cousin, in three episodes between 2009 and 2011.

She also provided additional voices in the “Greg/Gramma Jail” episode of Disney series Pickle and Peanut in 2015. But for now, check out this clip of her character meeting Elastigirl (Holly Hunter) from Incredibles 2:

Markie Post

She played Sophia Bush’s on-screen mom on Chicago PD, but Markie Post also voiced the main character’s mom in the Hub animated series Transformers: Prime. She was a series regular as June Darby from 2010-2013. Here’s one clip of June, who is a much better mom than Bunny Fletcher:

Yaya DaCosta

Chicago Med‘s Yaya DaCosta appeared in TV’s most famous animated series, The Simpsons, back in 2015. She played Kemi, a princess from Nigeria whom Homer Simpson (Dan Castellaneta) was assigned to chaperone, in the episode “The Princess Guide.” Watch a clip below to hear her totally not sound like April Sexton:

Oliver Platt

Way before he was Chicago Med‘s Dr. Daniel Charles, Oliver Platt played a mythological god in the DC Universe animated feature Wonder Woman. You can learn more about this role in our feature, and here’s a sample from the 2009 movie. Dr. Charles would have a lot to say about this scene:

Brian Tee

Chicago Med star Brian Tee lent his voice to the Cartoon Network series Sym-Bionic Titan back in 2010, playing hotshot racer Mike Chan in the episode “Roar of the White Dragon.” It’s a little funny, because Tee also played a hotshot racer in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. Check out his animated exploits in this clip below:
