One Chicago season premiere date revealed!
One Chicago has an official return date, as NBC has confirmed when Chicago Fire, Chicago PD and Chicago Med will start their new seasons.
One Chicago fans now know when our favorite franchise will return this fall.
NBC announced its fall 2018 schedule on Tuesday, which includes the season premiere date, singular, for all three One Chicago series now that they’re all airing on the same night.
That night on which you’ll never want to/be able to leave your house for the rest of the fall? Wednesday, Sept. 26.
Chicago Med season 4 will kick off the night at 8 p.m. followed by Chicago Fire season 7 at 9 p.m. and then Chicago PD season 6 rounding out the evening at 10 p.m.

That’s on par with most of last season’s premiere dates. Chicago Fire started on Sept. 28 this year, with Chicago PD beginning its season on Sept. 27. Chicago Med was off-cycle because NBC moved it to midseason, something the network reversed this year.
So NBC hasn’t changed its approach to the One Chicago franchise except to stack all three shows on top of each other.
For those of you keeping score of NBC’s schedule overall, Med‘s time slot now goes to the rookie medical drama New Amsterdam, while Fire‘s former place is being taken over by Dick Wolf‘s other series, Law & Order: SVU.
We’ll keep you posted on additional scheduling details as they emerge over the summer, and be back with a more detailed schedule breakdown closer to September. But we now know for sure the one day—and only one day a week—you’ll need to circle on your calendar.
