Watch Brian Tee’s Jurassic World scene
In honor of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, we give you the moment when Chicago Med’s Brian Tee was killed by a dinosaur in Jurassic World.
Everyone knows that today is opening day for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. What you might not know is that Brian Tee was in the original Jurassic World, which came out just months before he made his first appearance as Dr. Ethan Choi.
When Jurassic World premiered in 2015, the future Chicago Med star played Hamada, the leader of the park’s Asset Containment Unit. Basically, the group of armed commandos responsible for keeping the dinosaurs under control.
It’s not a spoiler to say that they didn’t really have much success with that.
In one of the movie’s more surprising scenes, Hamada and his team are dispatched by Jurassic World executives to locate and secure the Indominus Rex that has just escaped from captivity.
They’re able to track down the angry dinosaur, and…well, let’s just say you don’t have to ask if Brian Tee is in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Watch the action-packed scene below:
Luckily, things are going slightly better for Brian Tee in the One Chicago universe. Dr. Ethan Choi is alive and well, still working at Chicago Med, and the biggest problem he has to worry about is his troubled sister Emily (recurring guest star Arden Cho). When last we saw Choi, he was determined to have his ill sister move in with him—which did not go over well with his girlfriend April Sexton (Yaya DaCosta).
That’s a lot of drama, but it still beats getting chomped on by a massive rampaging dinosaur.
Brian Tee isn’t the only one with a connection to a recent blockbuster movie. Last week, Disney’s The Incredibles 2 opened in theaters, including former Chicago PD star Sophia Bush as the voice of a new hero named Voyd. You can learn more about that, and watch a clip of Sophia Bush in The Incredibles 2, here.
