Another Dick Wolf reality series is premiering, so we’re telling you how to watch Nightwatch Nation online and watch Nightwatch Nation live in order to see the first episode of A&E‘s now revamped first-responders show.

TV fans may remember a series called Nightwatch, which followed night shift paramedics and other first responders. After that show wrapped its fourth season last year, now we have this, which is billed as an “expansion” of the brand—focusing on multiple cities instead of just one organization across each episode.

The format change brings the series closer to A&E’s Live PD (which, ironically, this episode of Nation premieres in the middle of) but it won’t be live. It’s still pre-recorded, and still Dick Wolf and his fellow producers giving audiences a glimpse of real life paramedic work. Think of it as the actual Chicago Fire, except not actually in Chicago. And hey, Nightwatch Nation season 1 is airing in Chicago Fire‘s old time slot (albeit on another network).

"Nightwatch Nation is a new nonfiction series from Dick Wolf and 44 Blue Productions that follows EMT’s across the US—in Yonkers, Austin, Tucson and Baton Rouge—as they face some of the most dangerous emergency calls during the day’s riskiest shift: the overnight.Over the course of the show, viewers will experience the high intensity atmosphere of the call center to the scene of the emergency."
