Another episode of Cold Justice airs on Oxygen this Saturday, so we’re giving you a look at what to expect from Dick Wolf‘s reality series this weekend.

The third episode of the fifth season is entitled “Holding Onto Hope,” as many people who are affected by unsolved crimes have done for years. This particular case is almost 20 years old, as a mother went missing and left her family wondering why she’d vanish on them—and her child.

While one assumption is that she must have been murdered, there’s a second theory that has begun to develop: that the victim is not a victim at all, and went on the run voluntarily with a man that they can’t identify.

So was this a case of a young woman abandoning her current life to start a new one with a new boyfriend? Or was it a homicide? Or could it even be both—could she have been killed by someone that she thought she was getting a happy ending with?

This Cold Justice episode is unique in that it takes place in Texas, which is the home state of both star Kelly Siegler and investigator Johnny Bonds, who works with Kelly on this case. Don’t forget to read our interview with Kelly Siegler before watching tonight’s episode.

"Kelly and Johnny Bonds return to their home state of Texas to look into the disappearance of a young mother in 2000, whose family has never given up on her. While some suspect murder, others claim to have seen her on the run with a mystery man."
