Chicago Fire: Christopher Herrmann

Sharknado 6 is going to be full of nonsense, and Christopher Herrmann (David Eigenberg) has no patience for nonsense. Herrmann has to deal with a lot of over the top subplots, as he’s usually in the middle when Otis (Yuri Sardarov) or Joe Cruz (Joe Minoso) comes up with a new idea for the firehouse or Molly’s. And no matter how big the latest idea gets, Herrmann is always there to yank everybody back down to earth.

That ability to keep everything grounded would be invaluable in a situation that’s anything but grounded, and Herrmann’s straight to the point attitude would work wonders when inevitably everyone begins to panic. He’d be there to stop those inevitable scenes in every disaster movie where someone freaks out and does something that makes the situation worse. Honestly, he’d probably be out there giving the sharks a stern talking-to.

Herrmann also gets the nod because he’s proven himself to be incredibly crafty. Remember the Chicago Fire season 5 episode “Telling Her Goodbye” where he faked a heart attack in order to get out of the firehouse and provide valuable details to the police? That’s the kind of thinking we need in a shark-related emergency!

Plus, can you just imagine David Eigenberg running around with a shotgun blowing up a bunch of flying sharks? That would be the most entertaining thing ever.
