Nightwatch Nation season 1, episode 2 preview: Not Today

The second episode of Nightwatch Nation airs tonight. Look ahead at Dick Wolf’s reality show with our Nightwatch Nation season 1, episode 2 preview.

It’s time for another hour of Nightwatch Nation, so we’re giving you a sneak peek of what to expect from Dick Wolf‘s nonfiction series featuring paramedics.

Thursday’s second episode is called “Not Today,” and like last week’s series premiere, continues to follow paramedics and other first responders in a variety of cities all across the country, as they’re working on the evening shift.

Audiences will get a chance to ride along with paramedics as they respond to various surprising and sometimes scary calls for assistance, trying to save lives and restore order in the middle of the night.

Thursday’s installment is entitled “Not Today,” and among the cases that are on tap are a man who is hallucinating, thus posing a danger to himself and the first responders who are brought to help him. Elsewhere, another crew is at a loss to determine which drugs a woman might have taken as they try to save her life. Can they figure out the answer (and the proper treatment) in time?

It’s unscripted television, looking inside real paramedic work, and Nightwatch Nation season 1 is picking up where its predecessor Nightwatch left off last year.

"Lacey and Stacey restrain a patient that is suffering from hallucinations; Matt and Henry come face to face with a paramedic’s most difficult challenge; Alex and Jamal struggle to determine which drug a woman recently ingested."
