LaRoyce Hawkins hosting Patrick Lives On charity event

Chicago PD star LaRoyce Hawkins is hosting an upcoming event for Chicago charity Patrick Lives On, which will also include other One Chicago stars.

LaRoyce Hawkins will serve as the host of Chicago’s third annual Patrick Lives On fundraiser, which will also feature actors from all three One Chicago shows as they raise money to protect children from violence.

Patricia Frontain, the script supervisor from Chicago PD, founded Patrick Lives On in memory of her son Patrick Boswell. He was just 14 years old when he was shot and killed by gang crossfire in 2015.

The organization that bears his name now works to protect and support school-aged children in the Chicago area in a variety of ways, whether it’s providing scholarships to students or supporting community programs for kids to participate in.

This year’s fundraising event, happening Sept. 8 in Chicago, has plenty of ties to the One Chicago fandom while also giving all proceeds directly to the charity.

LaRoyce Hawkins, who plays Kevin Atwater on Chicago PD, will serve as the evening’s master of ceremonies and be joined by The Jeff Gibbs Band.

Several of his co-stars, as well as cast members from Chicago Med and Chicago Fire, will also be performing as part of the evening’s festivities. We do not have a confirmed list of who exactly will be in the lineup, but it’s bound to be a star-studded event for a very good cause.

Guests will enjoy complimentary food and drink from local Chicago-area restaurants, and there’s also going to be an auction and a raffle, meaning that fans could also take home something special to remember the evening by.

There are two levels of tickets available. In addition to general admission, VIP tickets allow for fans to participate in a meet and greet with the actors, including a photo opportunity. So if you’re a One Chicago fan, this is an excellent chance to get up close and personal with your favorite stars, while also doing something that matters for the community.

The event takes place Saturday, Sept. 8 at The Chop Shop in Chicago. Tickets are $100 for general admission and $300 for VIP admission; you can purchase them here.
