What does Chicago PD season 6 have in store for Antonio Dawson? Before the new Chicago PD season, look ahead for Jon Seda’s character.

Before Chicago PD season 6 begins on Sept. 26, we’re previewing the new season specifically for each main character. Where did they leave off last season, what ought to happen with them in the new season, and what is most likely going to happen next?

Last season was Antonio Dawson’s (Jon Seda) first full season back in the Intelligence Unit after he had departed for the State’s Attorney’s Office. But after Chicago Justice was cancelled by NBC, Antonio was brought back to Chicago PD, and picked up pretty much right where he left off. His second time around was a lot like the first, in ways that were both good and bad.

Several episodes saw Antonio once again butting heads with Hank Voight (Jason Beghe), and it went to a whole other level in the most recent season. Things ended with Antonio essentially holding Voight’s fate in his hands when the two had to testify in front of another departmental review board—so what did he say? Where does he go from here?
