What does Chicago Fire season 7 have in store for Wallace Boden? Before the new Chicago Fire season, look ahead for Eamonn Walker’s character.

Before Chicago Fire season 7 begins on Sept. 26, we’re previewing the new season specifically for each main character. Where did they leave off last season, what ought to happen with them in the new season, and what is most likely going to happen next?

Wallace Boden (Eamonn Walker) remains the Battalion Chief holding down the proverbial fort at Firehouse 51, though for a while it looked like he was going to be anything but. Boden is the top of the food chain at the firehouse, but with each passing season he’s continued to look at the rest of his options.

Still, it’s hard to imagine our favorite firehouse without Boden. He’s the boss for several very good reasons—he’s earned the rank and there’s no one that is a better leader. Yet what will he do in the new season, considering his plans for the future were so abruptly derailed? Will Boden be able to right someone else’s wrong, or at least get what he himself deserves?
