What does Chicago Med season 4 have in store for Sarah Reese? Before the new Chicago Med season, look ahead for Rachel DiPillo’s character.

Before Chicago Med season 4 begins on Sept. 26, we’re previewing the new season specifically for each main character. Where did they leave off last season, what ought to happen with them in the new season, and what is most likely going to happen next?

Dr. Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) should be coming into the season on a high note. His last season started in the best possible way, as he finally got together with the woman he’d been crushing on since the start of the entire series—and then everything began to crash and burn.

While Chicago Med did put a lot of emphasis on the new romantic relationship between Will and Dr. Natalie Manning (Torrey DeVitto), once they got past the first few episodes, it was fairly often about them fighting. That meant Will took an awful lot of metaphorical punches last season, and that’s before we get into his professional problems.

So things have to get better for him this season, right? Or is he going to be on another dramatic ride?
