This week’s Chicago Med season premiere will not only resolve all of the show’s cliffhangers from last season, but invite a few more questions, according to NBC‘s official description of the episode and the promo they’ve released.

Wednesday’s episode is called “Be My Better Half,” and with a title like that, it’s clear that it will be focused on the hospital’s multiple duos (and some others that are dropping in). Fans will find out if they can celebrate a Manstead engagement after Will Halstead’s marriage proposal, while Will (Nick Gehlfuss) gets a patient whose course of treatment might upset his fiancee. Do you see the parallels between the case of the week and Manstead emerging already?

Meanwhile, it’s not business as usual in the upper echelon of the hospital thanks to the change in leadership from last season, and audiences will find out who is leaving the team and whether or not Robert Haywood’s (recurring guest star Michel Gill) reign of terror is finally over. Did he live or die after having another heart attack? Should we even care?
