FBI premiere preview: Watch a scene from Dick Wolf’s new series
FBI’s series premiere is this week, and you can get a first look at Dick Wolf’s latest TV series. Watch a scene from FBI season 1, episode 1 now.
The newest Dick Wolf series hits the airwaves tonight, but audiences can see some of the FBI premiere now in our sneak preview.
As the title indicates, the new CBS drama focuses on federal law enforcement. It also moves the action back to New York, where Wolf’s hit Law & Order franchise is set. (That may be because the original idea was for this show to be a spinoff of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.)
For fans of the producer, though, this ought to be right up your alley. It’s another procedural, it’s set in a familiar location, and it does feature an interesting cast, many of whom already have ties to previous Wolf projects.
There are three alumni from Law & Order shows in the pilot—although one, Connie Nielsen, was let go after the first episode and replaced by CSI: NY veteran Sela Ward. Nielsen’s scenes will still be part of the premiere.
Tonight’s FBI premiere deals with an explosion, and the agents have to deduce who set off the bomb and what their motives were. Could it be terrorism? Is it something else much simpler? And why do their suspects keep dying?
And will FBI hook viewers the same way the previous Dick Wolf shows have done?
