This week’s Chicago PD episode is the third part of this season’s first Chicago Crossover, and there’s not a lot being said about how it ends, according to NBC‘s official description of the episode and the promo they’ve released.

Wednesday’s episode is entitled “Endings” and that doesn’t necessarily inspire confidence going into the last part of a three-show crossover. But as one would expect, the network is being cagey with the details of the episode, so as not to spoil anything that happens in the two shows that air before it.

In a general sense, fans know what’s coming, as Intelligence will have to look for the person who set the apartment building fire that started the whole storyline. If there wasn’t some kind of case still happening, there wouldn’t be an episode! But beyond that, it certainly sounds like something bad is on the horizon.

Considering that Intelligence just lost one of their own less than two weeks ago (based on the time references in last week’s season premiere), let’s hope that Chicago PD isn’t about to hurt somebody else close to home.
