This week’s Chicago Med episode seems like it will feature some emotional moments, and One Chicago fans can take their first look at what’s going to happen during the episode with our photo gallery.
Wednesday’s episode is called “Heavy Is The Head” and based on the promotional photos that NBC has made available for the installment, there are a lot of Very Serious Conversations that are happening around the hospital.
Audiences are going to see a lot of hospital COO Gwen Garrett (recurring guest star Heather Headley). Gwen is in several of these photos, having talks with Sharon Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson) as well as her new head of the Emergency Department. What could she possibly be planning or complaining about now?
On a more positive note, you’ll see that one of these images involves the return of lab tech Joey Adams (Peter Mark Kendall). He hasn’t been seen around the hospital since he and Sarah Reese (former series regular Rachel DiPillo) broke up, but it looks like he’s back now!
How is he part of this week’s episode? Or is he just here to comment on how Reese is no longer working at the hospital? Hopefully the former, because he was underused to begin with.
