What’s happening in this week’s episode of Law and Order SVU? Find out about the next episode with the SVU season 20, episode 6 synopsis and teaser.

The next Law & Order: Special Victims Unit will spotlight Fin and Carisi, according to NBC‘s official description of this week’s SVU and the promotional spot they’ve released for the episode.

Thursday’s episode is entitled “Exile” and after last week’s installment was focused on the work and home lives of Detective Amanda Rollins (Kelli Giddish), this episode gives the case and extra screen time to Carisi (Peter Scanavino). He’s the lead detective, but he may have a victim who’s not being entirely forthcoming.

But if you’re a fan of Odafin “Fin” Tutuola (Ice-T), you don’t want to miss this episode either. NBC’s ad for this episode shows that Fin is getting some more scenes himself, perhaps partnering with Carisi now that Rollins’ pregnancy is becoming more of an issue? Whatever the reason, this duo is always interesting to watch and should make for a great combination again this week.

However, will the case of the week wind up putting them through the wringer? Based on what we know about the plot, “Exile” (which is not related to Exiled, the Law & Order movie in which Ice-T first appeared as a gang member) sounds awfully shady. This could be one of the episodes that ends up giving the detectives more headaches than anything else.

"A young woman wakes up in the hospital with no memory of her assault, and Carisi’s investigation stalls when she disappears."
