One Chicago fans should be ready to cry during the next Chicago Fire, according to NBC‘s official description of Wednesday’s episode and the promo spot that they’ve released for it.

Wednesday’s installment is called “What Will Define You,” and expect that there will be some talk about that exact subject with Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney). The episode picks up after last week’s surprising decision to kill off his father Benny Severide (Treat Williams), who suffered a stroke and died before Kelly could get to say goodbye. As Severide lays his father to rest, expect him to look at not just his dad’s legacy, but his own.

Meanwhile, the case of the week goes to Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer). While Brett deals with a car accident that isn’t quite on the up and up (not the first one of those the show has written during this season), maybe we’ll learn a bit more about where Chicago Fire is going to take her in the rest of season 7. Brett’s story has mostly revolved around getting a new partner so far, but that has to change at some point, right?
