Sparks will fly in the Chicago PD midseason finale, as evidenced by the promotional images that NBC has released for Wednesday’s episode.
Wednesday’s installment is called “Descent” and is focused on Antonio Dawson (Jon Seda). Fans know that Antonio has developed an addiction to pain medication, and based on these photos, it has caught up to him quickly. He looks rough around the edges and in some photos, like he’s kind of upset about something.
Will his secret be exposed and how will the rest of the team react? Plus, note that Antonio’s ex-wife Laura Dawson (guest star America Olivo) is back on Chicago PD for the first time in a while, and she is not happy. Based on the picture she appears in, it’s clear at least she knows.
Meanwhile, things are also heating up between Hailey Upton (Tracy Spiridakos) and Adam Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger), who seem to be having another romantic moment interrupted. They’ve been a couple for most of Chicago PD season 6, so is their relationship bliss going to continue in this episode? Or could the honeymoon period wear off?
