Chicago Med season 4 midseason finale predictions
What will happen in the Chicago Med midseason finale? Here are our Chicago Med predictions ahead of Chicago Med season 4’s winter finale.
The Chicago Med midseason finale airs this Wednesday, so it’s time to predict where the series will leave One Chicago fans. Every One Chicago finale always has surprises, plot twists, reveals or something else that leaves audiences wanting more, and this will be no exception.
Are audiences going to see a Manstead wedding? Will the FBI investigation ever resolve itself or continue to be a thorn in everyone’s side? Is something crazy going to happen at the hospital like another shooting in the parking lot? Here’s what we think will happen on Chicago Med:
1. April and Choi will make a decision
It might be personal, it might be professional, it could even be a little of both considering how much they work together. But with April Sexton (Yaya DaCosta) and Dr. Ethan Choi (Brian Tee) being teamed up on another case this week, it’d be naive to think that they’re not going to have some sort of important conversation.
Chexton have been split up all season (apparently, because it wasn’t specifically called out until more recently). But Chicago Med has kept them tied together plot-wise. April and Choi have both helped his sister Emily (Arden Cho) with her unexpected pregnancy and subsequent personal issues.
When Choi’s life was on the line, it was April who ran into the hospital to get what was needed to save him. And when his ex-girlfriend Vicki Glass (guest star Cynthia Addai-Robinson) returned, it was a little amusing how the show made sure we noticed April seeing them together and how she was not happy about it.
Vicki’s still in the picture, since Choi left with her at the end of the last episode (though we don’t know if she appears in this week’s installment). So will she no longer be an ex and April finds out about it? Will April confess that she still has feelings for Choi now that she knows she has some competition? Or will these two have to make a tough call for their patient that makes them both reconsider their lives? There’s all kinds of possibilities, but there’ll be something happening.
