The Chicago Fire midseason finale includes a massive car accident and the return of an old friend, as revealed in NBC‘s promotional photos that they’ve released for the episode.

Wednesday’s installment “Always A Catch” sees the second appearance of Tyler (recurring guest star Tye White) after he got a lukewarm reception in his first episode. Tyler is back to spend more time with Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo), but is it just as a friend or were her boyfriend’s instincts right about him?

Meanwhile, most of the images are all from the same scene, which is the obligatory big case of the week that Firehouse 51 will have to handle. That call is a multi-car accident that leaves more than one person in need of help, and as usual, the show has made it as huge as possible. Fans will see everyone on the team working hard to treat victims and clear the scene. But what will they find in the wreckage?
