The Chicago Med midseason finale has everything happening both inside the hospital and outside of it, which is reflected in the promotional images NBC has made available for this week.

Wednesday’s episode “Death Do Us Part” does feature the obligatory photo of Dr. Natalie Manning (Torrey DeVitto) in her wedding dress, prepared to get married for the second time. But the focus is less on the wedding and more on all the other crazy things going on in the episode.

Your eyes aren’t deceiving you; that is Chicago PD‘s Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) featured in a photo for this show! That’s because Jay has a major role to play in this installment. Fans who are up to date on the season know that it isn’t just because he’s Natalie’s soon to be brother-in-law.

Plus, there are still medical procedures happening at the hospital, so check out a few slices of life with some of the other characters. Everyone has something on their plate and it’s all going to be resolved on Wednesday night.
