Chicago Fire, Chicago PD and Chicago Med fans won’t be happy, because One Chicago has been left off FanSided’s list of the 250 most notable fandoms.

The Fandom 250 rankings were released Wednesday, and FanSided’s collection of the 250 top fandoms in sports and entertainment did not include One Chicago fans.

It’s the second time that Chicago Med, Chicago Fire and Chicago PD viewers haven’t been part of the list, and it’s shocking considering that the One Chicago franchise is enjoying some of its best ratings ever.

Last year, Chi-Hards squeaked onto the list, coming in 243rd out of 250 fandoms on the Fandom 250 as chosen by FanSided editors.

The fandom did better in the public vote, though, as readers voted it the second most popular TV fandom. So what happened this year to drop Chi-Hards off the list, and how can they climb back on in 2019?

Anyone who knows Chicago PD, Chicago Fire and Chicago Med knows how dedicated the fans of all three shows are. The best way to show off One Chicago fandom is to show up—whether it’s clicking on this very website to keep it going, or continuing to make sure those hashtags trend on Twitter, or just starting new conversations on social media.

The Fandom 250 is about the most passionate, most committed fans in every walk of sports and entertainment, and One Chicago fans are always finding ways to show how much they love their favorite franchise. The more they make their voices heard, whether it’s by clicking on One Chicago stories or retweeting their favorite Tweets, the more they’ll register for next year’s list.

Plus, the TV ratings for this season are plenty to be proud of! Two of the three shows are having banner seasons in live viewers, which means fans are not only showing up but they’re doing so live—not as easy as it sounds in today’s on-demand world. So fans should celebrate how they’ve helped NBC win most Wednesday nights this fall, and got the network to order more episodes.
