One Chicago fans can tune in to NBC this evening to rewatch this season’s crossover between Chicago Fire, Chicago Med and Chicago PD.

The One Chicago franchise returns to NBC tonight as the network is using the day after Christmas for a second presentation of this season’s three-show, three-hour crossover.

The crossover focuses on a massive fire at a high-rise apartment building, which puts the lives of many tenants at risk, including someone close to a main character. While Firehouse 51 fights the blaze, the doctors of Chicago Med treat the victims and the Intelligence Unit tries to bring people responsible to justice.

The three-hour event is one of the biggest parts of the current season, and not just because it’s the only crossover so far. It introduces the character Chloe (recurring guest star Kristen Gutoskie), who would go on to date Joe Cruz (Joe Minoso) and be involved in a car accident in Chicago Fire‘s midseason finale.

Meanwhile, the crossover marks the last appearance of another recurring character, and not one but two firefighters face serious consequences while trying to deal with the fire. Plus, the last hour not only has a massive plot twist, but hints at the new ship between Adam Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger) and Hailey Upton (Tracy Spiridakos).

David Zayas (Dexter) is a featured guest star.

While it’s not as good as new episodes, it gives fans a chance to get their One Chicago fix since many are home tonight due to the Christmas holiday.

And for NBC, it’s easy programming; they can fill the entire night with the crossover, and not burn off new episodes—which they wouldn’t want to do since it’s still close enough to the holiday that other people may be traveling or not watching TV. So however you look at it, it’s a win-win.

Remember that because of the way the crossover is set up, the episode order is slightly flipped. Chicago Fire will air an hour earlier at 8 p.m, with Chicago Med being pushed back an hour to 9; Chicago PD stays in the same place at 10 p.m. Watch the original promo for these episodes by playing the video below:
