Chicago PD season 6, episode 11 synopsis and promo: Trust
What’s happening in this week’s episode of Chicago PD? Find out about the next episode with the Chicago PD season 6, episode 11 synopsis and teaser.
The next Chicago PD finally pushes this season’s recurring theme into the spotlight, according to NBC‘s official description of the episode and the promo that they’ve released for it.
Wednesday’s episode is called “Trust,” and while fans are focused on what’s going to happen with Adam Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger), that may not be resolved in this episode. At the very least, it’s not the main storyline in this episode. Instead, viewers will get a politically-themed case that will hopefully shed some light on what the show has been building all season.
The week’s case involves a death at a political fundraiser, and fans know that Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) made a handshake deal with Deputy Superintendent Katherine Brennan (recurring guest star Anne Heche) to close cases that would help make her boss the next Mayor. But the politics of this murder will make Voight change his opinion, which could also change Brennan’s attitude when it comes to him and his unit.
This show mixes policing and political drama fairly often, but considering how precarious it is for Voight, Ruzek and Antonio right now, a ticked-off Deputy Superintendent could have some huge consequences. She could snap her fingers and upend the entire Intelligence team. But Voight is not a pushover either, so hold on for some fireworks.
