Chicago Fire season 7, episode 11 recap: You Choose
Stella
Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) announced her breakup with Severide to Firehouse 51, while also coming up with the idea of entering Ritter’s dog Tuesday into a “fire safety dog competition.” That prompted Christopher Herrmann (David Eigenberg) to suggest she was just looking for something to take her mind off the breakup.
But Stella was able to get Tuesday trained—after Ritter revealed the dog’s fondness for peanut butter—and ready for competition. She was also understandably angry when she found out that Severide was being interrogated for a crime he obviously didn’t commit. They may be broken up, but he’s still someone she cared about and still a member of her firehouse.

It was Stella, Mouch (Christian Stolte), Joe Cruz (Joe Minoso) and Otis (Yuri Sardarov) who were responsible for Chicago Fire‘s comic relief this week. Everyone turned up to see Tuesday’s work in the competition, which went badly wrong when the dog saw a girl with peanut butter and jumped on her. An overzealous parent even accused Tuesday of “mauling” the girl, which was the second dumb statement in this episode. So much for winning.
Stella wasn’t too down about it, and went back to work at Molly’s Bar that night. Herrmann, ever the wise man, gave her some more relationship advice by essentially telling her it was okay not to be okay. That prompted her to admit she’s “not completely over it yet, but I will be.” Or will she, as Chicago Fire ended the episode with her watching Severide walk through the bar?
