The personal drama around Chicago Med is going to seriously screw up the hospital this week, according to NBC‘s official description of Wednesday’s episode and the promo they’ve released for it.

Wednesday’s installment is called “Ghosts in the Attic” and each one of the three storyline has an angle that relates to the personal issues between all of the show’s couples. Dr. Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) is still not being honest with his fiancee, possibly about the gun he didn’t get rid of at the end of the previous episode? Or is Chicago Med giving Will something else that he has to hide, and which will mess up their reconciliation?

Meanwhile, Dr. Ethan Choi (Brian Tee) has problems with April Sexton’s (Yaya DaCosta) behavior, and Dr. Connor Rhodes (Colin Donnell) and Dr. Ava Bekker (Norma Kuhling) have an altercation in the operating room! You’d think all these people would be professional enough to leave baggage outside, but apparently not. At least maybe this will force them to settle some of the differences that have existed all season?

"Dr. Halstead withholds some important information from Dr. Manning and she begins to question his suspect behavior. Dr. Choi comes to some difficult conclusions involving April over a patient’s care. An incident in the OR involving Dr. Bekker at the hands of Dr. Rhodes may have serious implications."
