Maggie Lockwood is featured in the next Chicago Med, according to NBC‘s official description and the promo they’ve released for the episode.

Wednesday’s installment is called “Can’t Unring That Bell,” and some of it is the same stuff that Chicago Med fans have been seeing all season. Dr. Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) still has personal problems and relationship problems. Dr. Ava Bekker (Norma Kuhling) is still trying to fix things with her relationship—if it even still exists at this point. Those are plot points that audiences know very well by now, as they’ve stretched over multiple episodes.

What will be of more interest is that one of the subplots from last week is now one of the main stories this week. Remember the cousin of Maggie’s (Marlyne Barrett) former classmate with her ilness? Because she’s got a big heart, and maybe because she feels guilty for doubting her, Maggie is stepping up to help her in a big way. If the hospital lets her go through with it, of course, and if it doesn’t kill her.
