Chicago Fire season 7, episode 14 recap: It Wasn’t About Hockey
End of the road
Chicago Fire gave audiences yet another “OMG” moment when Foster cauterized Hunter’s wound with a hot piece of metal. But no sooner had she fixed that problem, then one of his teammates dropped unconscious.
While Brett scrambled to locate an epi shot that could save him, Stella finally pulled up onto the scene. She leapt right into action, with Brett using Stella’s Jeep to pull the bus so that the bag with the epi could be freed. It was close, but they pulled it off. Yay for teamwork!

Finally, with eight minutes left to go in “It Wasn’t About Hockey,” the cavalry arrived. The coach and his player had made that six-mile run and been able to summon help, allowing Brett and Foster a chance to catch their breath. While sitting in the local hospital’s waiting room, Stella decided that next year she was staying in bed.
The coach thanked them all profusely for what they had done, which had saved the lives of his players. He also revealed that he had reconsidered his decision to leave the team, and named Foster, Brett and Stella honorary members. As for the farmer, he too was up and walking (albeit on crutches).
Making it to a hotel to unwind, the ladies of Firehouse 51 shared a drink, while Stella wondered aloud if they had been on that snowy road for a reason. We’ll let Chicago Fire fans decide if you agree with her or not, but one thing’s for sure: this is a Galentine’s Day that none of them will ever forget.
