Chicago Fire season 7, episode 16 photos: Fault In Him

There’s at least a little bit of fun ahead on Chicago Fire, according to the promotional photos that NBC has released for Wednesday’s new episode.

Wednesday’s installment is called “Fault In Him,” and while the main storyline is super-dramatic, there’s a pretty fun subplot that’s revealed in the network’s images. They show that at least some of Firehouse 51 get out of the house and over to a hockey game, which they’re clearly having a great time at.

These subplots are always entertaining, not to mention a nice reminder of the fact that our characters can occasionally catch a break and a chance to unwind. It’s especially nice that fans will see more of Capp (Randy Flagler), and to see a happy Joe Cruz (Joe Minoso) after Chicago Fire stressed him out last week.

Of course, there’s still problems to be solved. The central plot involves Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer) getting into another sticky situation, so it’s no surprise that other photos depict our crew on the job. Is this the call that puts Casey in peril? Or is this something else that leads up to him being in trouble? It’s not clear from the images, but they’re going to be busy before they get to that hockey game!
