Chicago Med season 4, episode 16 photos: Old Flames, New Sparks

The hospital’s getting a few familiar guests in the next Chicago Med, as revealed in the photos NBC has released to promote Wednesday’s new episode.
These images reveal that both Robin Charles (Mekia Cox) and Vicki Glass (Cynthia Addai-Robinson) are in the episode, entitled “Old Flames, New Sparks.” Robin is still in town while her mother goes through surgery at the hospital, while One Chicago fans haven’t seen much of Vicki while the focus has been on the tension between Dr. Ethan Choi (Brian Tee) and April Sexton (Yaya DaCosta).
The rest of the photos look like it’s pretty much business as usual at the hospital, except for seeing Dr. Daniel Charles (Oliver Platt) having an important conversation with Sharon Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson). Which, given their professional relationship plus Sharon’s friendship with Charles’ ex (Paula Newsome, also pictured here), could be about anything.
But it’s important to confirm that Robin and Vicki are back, because the latter hasn’t had much development since she was re-introduced this season, and Robin’s storyline deserves a fair bit of closure after she disappeared last season. If nothing else, Chicago Med fans can look forward to figuring their stories out—and how those stories will affect the people closest to them.
