Will and Natalie

After Will was looking for a new apartment in an earlier episode, his brother Jay (Jesse Lee Soffer) was trying to get him out the door in this Chicago Med episode. But the duo’s chat was interrupted by a young woman they found frozen and near death.

The initial suspicion was that the woman had been assaulted, robbed and dumped in the snow. It turned out not to be true when they found her car, so how did Emma end up out in the cold? She admitted to being inebriated but seemed like she was holding something back, especially with not wanting Will to contact her wife.

Her wife found out anyway and stormed into Chicago Med having figured out that Emma had been having an affair. While Emma had a hard time facing reality, her medical situation also got worse, and incredibly gross.

Meanwhile, Dr. Natalie Manning (Torrey DeVitto) continued to cross boundaries by making a house call for Phillip (guest star Ian Harding). She inadvertently told him that she was no longer engaged, and accepted his invitation to stay for dinner—which led to the moment that Chicago Med hinted at for weeks: Natalie kissed him, and then she kissed him again. Welcome to Chicago Med‘s new love triangle!

But that’s not even the weirdest part of it: Will got that new apartment, and it happened to be in the same neighborhood as his old FBI handler, Agent Lee. Oh, no, this isn’t going to turn into a love square, is it?
