Politics and crime are going to intersect again on Chicago PD, but the collision is going to be worse than ever before, according to the promotional photos that NBC has released for this week’s next episode.
SPOILER ALERT: We consider some of these photos to be spoilery for the upcoming Chicago PD episode.
Thursday’s installment is entitled “Pain Killer” and once again, the mayoral election is a large part of the story. After seeing some of our heroes at a fundraiser for Brian Kelton (John C. McGinley) in a previous episode, now viewers are getting a look at the campaign of Alderman Ray Price (guest star Wendell Pierce).
However, a crime is soon committed that has the Intelligence Unit springing into action. And as is usually the case, they’re doing it with weapons drawn and prepared for a fight, so this is obviously something very serious. What’s going down, and how will the political players react?
Could one of them even be involved in the crime? (Kelton always seems to be.) Fans will have to watch and find out, though this storyline might explain this recent casting news.
