Tuesday’s installment “Apex” promises a bigger role for the team’s boss Dana Mosier (Sela Ward). She’s working with Special Agent Maggie Bell (Missy Peregrym) on this week’s case, which has a very high body count. Unfortunately for them, none other than the mayor of New York City wants to tell them how to do their jobs. That probably won’t go well, and it’s worse because there are innocent people whose lives are depending on them.

This episode will also be of interest to Dick Wolf enthusiasts because Law & Order: Special Victims Unit alum Sandrine Holt guest stars; Holt previously appeared in SVU season 20 playing the role of new psychologist Lisa Abernathy. Now she’s seguing over to another Wolf franchise!
