It’s back to business as usual in this week’s Chicago PD, according to the promotional images that NBC has released for the next episode.
Wednesday’s installment is simply titled “This City,” and the photos that go with it are for the most part pretty vague—they could be from any episode. It’s common at this point to see our heroes as they have their guns out, ready to move in on the next suspect or potential threat. They’re dealing with gang members, which is also a common theme in the show, too.
The most revealing images actually have to do with the guest stars. It’s interesting that Alderman Ray Price (Wendell Pierce) features in this episode after being shot last week. That’s a pretty fast turnaround, and hopefully he’ll get more screen time than he did before.
But Price isn’t the only person who’s coming back for the second consecutive week. His rival and the squad’s nemesis Superintendent Brian Kelton (John C. McGinley) is also here, so will he try to get in the way of the case this time, as well? Odds are good, considering his past behavior.
