What’s happening in this week’s FBI episode? Find out about Most Wanted with the FBI season 1, episode 18 synopsis and teaser.

The newest Dick Wolf universe is about to get a bit bigger, according to CBS‘s official description of this week’s FBI and the promo that they’ve released for it.

That’s because Tuesday’s episode, entitled “Most Wanted,” isn’t a typical episode. It’s a backdoor pilot using the show to set up the characters and premise for a planned spinoff series, which CBS announced they were developing just a few months ago. If the reception to this episode is good, we’ll be seeing a second FBI series on the air this fall.

But for now, fans get this episode in which Maggie Bell (Missy Peregrym) and OA Zidan (Zeeko Zaki) call in a specialized unit from the Federal Bureau of Investigation to help them catch their latest suspect. Alana de la Garza (Law & Order) stars as the unit’s boss, while Julian McMahon (Nip/Tuck) is the lead agent getting his hands dirty.

Matthew Lillard also guest stars, playing the villain of the week. Will they catch him? Well, the outlook is good, since the entire point of this episode is to convince fans that this new team is also worth watching.
