When is the Chicago Fire season 7 finale? Find out when the Chicago Fire season finale is scheduled to air on NBC and what to expect.

When is the Chicago Fire season 7 finale? Though it’s still around the corner, we already know when the Chicago Fire season finale will happen.

The seventh season has kept Firehouse 51, and One Chicago fans, pretty busy. Among some of the major developments have been the introduction of the new paramedic Emily Foster (Annie Ilonzeh), a post-divorce love interest for Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer), and a massive about face when it comes to Fire Commissioner Carl Grissom (returning guest star Gary Cole).

But all of those plot changes have come with some more schedule changes, too. The show has been off the air almost as much as it’s been on since the start of 2019, with more reruns and a few weeks where NBC has pulled it off the air for something else instead.

The network isn’t keeping anyone guessing about when the season is going to end, though. NBC has already confirmed that the Chicago Fire season finale is scheduled for Wednesday, May 22 in the show’s usual 9 p.m. time slot.

That means One Chicago viewers have almost two months left before this season winds down, which is no doubt exciting after experiencing months where it’s been mostly repeats or looking to see if a new episode is on. There’s seven weeks left, and a handful of episodes, which is plenty of time for more drama—and more surprises. Because if fans know anything, the season will end with some kind of big development.

Now you can answer “When is the Chicago Fire season 7 finale?” and start counting the weeks, and remaining episodes, until this season comes to an end. Don’t worry, though, because NBC has already renewed the show for season 8.
