Drugs are once again front and center in the next Chicago PD, according to the official description NBC has released for this week’s episode and the promo they’ve made available for it.

Wednesday’s installment is titled “Sacrifice,” and the general premise will sound familiar to fans, as it’s another case of the week involving drugs. Drugs and gangs (and sometimes both) are the two most frequent topics on this show—although this episode’s plot is about prescription drugs, as opposed to illegal ones. The Intelligence Unit busts a lot of drug dealers, so it’ll be interesting to see if this week’s plot twist really sets the episode apart from previous ones or not.

While the synopsis is fairly vague about the case, it does include a note that shippers will want to pay attention to: the romantic relationship between Adam Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger) and Hailey Upton (Tracy Spiridakos) is going to come back to the forefront of the show. One Chicago fans saw a lot of Ruzek and Upton in the first half of this season, but not so much recently, so it looks like the show is circling back to that Wednesday.
