Antonio Dawson is front and center in the latest Chicago PD, as proven by the promotional photos NBC has released for this week’s episode.

Wednesday’s installment “Confession” features Antonio (Jon Seda) going undercover to stop the latest drug deal. That storyline is pretty common on this show—in fact, we saw it just last week with a sting operation—but what makes this plot different is Antonio’s brief struggle with being addicted to prescription drugs earlier this season. Chicago PD already mentioned last week that Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) doesn’t trust him around opiates because of that.

So NBC has given us a lot of photos of Antonio looking awfully contemplative, along with a wide selection of action shots that are pretty much commonplace for this show. There’s always scenes of somebody with their weapon ready, or in the middle of a serious discussion with someone (but who is Voight talking to this time?).

But knowing that Jon Seda only has two episodes left puts these pictures into a lot more context. This has to be the episode that sets up why his character is going to leave Intelligence. So don’t expect things to turn out great for Antonio Dawson—but at least it looks like all of his teammates are on hand to help.
